Once I decided to buy I was full of joy, the simple but unique and great concept for this game was intriguing, some games are about the character being a youtuber but this game shows the other side of the spectrum the player is the game developer and that’s amazing by itself. I watched videos on this game and they were great but it’s not the videos that fought my attention. Mineemerywere's Review of Game Dev Tycoon Reviewed on 8/25/18 7:55 AM Great game completely worth star star star star star They have and are doing an amazing job and I can see myself continuing to play this game for years to come. Usually reviews are just about the game but I felt this needed to be said about the game and company behind it as a whole. They care about the community and care about the game in a way not many studios do. It isn't the usual cash grab of throwing a game on more platforms for extra money. Not only did they port the game to iOS and Android, they did it brilliantly and updated the and with new content along the way. A lot of the time with indie games, they make the initial game and maybe some patches and wipe their hands of it Not Greenheart. Greenheart did an amazing job bringing the PC game to mobile devices and along the way updating the game and adding features. It runs great, has no bugs that I've seen and plays amazingly through iCloud. It's perfect for mobile devices, especially the iPad. The gameplay is great, it's reminiscent of Game Dev Story in a lot of ways yet different. There's a lot to say about a game this simple. MMFQ Productions's Review of Game Dev Tycoon Reviewed on 8/9/18 5:59 PM Thank youĭevelopment inception star star star star star If you guys could just add a function where we could turn it off if we wanted to, that would be amazing.Īll around I love the app but I just really like to have some of these bugs/functions implemented into the game so I could have a better experience. I don’t know if this is intentional but it gets annoying, especially if your trying to make your team the very best. The last thing I will add here is that from what I experienced, once one of the guys you hired is high in one area, whenever you try and train him it will barley do anything. It’s not terrible but I would enjoy the game even further if you guys added that in. And when I go to the save-file, it picks up right when I started making the game. There have been times when I’ll be about to die and have to make another game, only to die then. Thirdly, (although this isn’t a bug I find it incredibly dumb and a easy fix) I would love if you guys added in multiple save-files and allowed auto saving to be turned off. This one annoys me most because it usually takes 15 seconds for any of them to start giving me points, and by that time I’m 3/4 of the way done with that section of development. It would be okay if the development process also halted with it but instead it ends up costing me design and technology points. Secondly, there has been times when I’m playing and developing a new game when a pop up appears (normally a gaming convention I’m hosting) and when I’m done my team doesn’t do anything. It isn’t that big of a deal but it becomes annoying after a while. I don’t just mean the VERY first time, I mean whenever it’s loaded in. That said, in those two weeks I noticed some bugs that, if fixed, would make this a 5 star review.įirstly, the app crashes the first time when you launch it. This app is by far my favorite of it genre and I’ve been addicted to it for roughly 2 weeks, playing it nonstop. Great game but some minor bugs star star star star star_borderĪpehfjspcmahqyriqyeyfkNd's Review of Game Dev Tycoon Reviewed on 9/1/18 6:50 PM
